Following a near two years absence, Bernardo Monk visits Boston,
joined by some of the best tango musicians in the US. In his return
engagement to the Regattabar, Monk will introduce music from his
soon-to-be-released third CD as well as material form his previous
albums.
A true and active exponent of the contemporary tango stream in
Buenos Aires, Bernardo performed and recorded with celebrated tango
stars such as bandoneonists Nestor Marconi and Daniel Binelli as
well as singer Horacio Molina.
Monk also collaborated with Argentine composer Osvaldo Golijov,
recording the soundtrack for the movie Tetro directed by Francis
Ford Coppola.
